| The College is primarily meant to cater the Educational needs of the Catholic minority community. It is open, however to the people at large, without distinction of caste or creed. It upholds the motto "PRO DEO ET PATRIA" (for God and Country) with the aim of promoting righteousness and good of our country. |

- The “flame” at the vertex is quite essential insignia of spiritual enlightenment, cleansing, healing, truth seeking, activity, creativity, unity, health, passion, love, fertility, strength, courage and willpower.

- The “globe”, below the flame and above the open text, is symbolic of the didactic mission entrusted on every teacher.

- The open text can imply any book as a source of information. It also symbolizes the Bible - word of God. If a teacher dedicates himself to listen to the word of God he will shine like a flame.

- The radiance of his knowledge will liberate the body and soul of all men and women. The image of a pen in the center is the embodiment of literacy and education. The society can only be enriched and prosperous if people or each individual are educated and literate.

- A pen also symbolizes inspiration. It gives the driving force. The motto “PRO DEO ET PATRIA” - FOR GOD AND COUNTRY, inscribed at the bottom of the Emblem, is a concise Latin rendering of this institution’s commitment to the Creator and the Fatherland.
