In the era defined by rapid technological advancements, the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education has become imperative for preparing students for the complexities of the digital age. The ICT club at Teacher Education College aims to promote technological literacy among students and educators. ICT clubs serve as catalysts for innovation, collaboration, and professional development among students and educators alike. The club encourages to explore emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, and to brainstorm ways in which these tools can be integrated into teaching and learning experiences. By experimenting with new methodologies and pedagogies, students gain valuable insights on how technology can enhance engagement, improve learning outcomes, and foster creativity in the classroom.

The first meeting of the club was held on 27-10-2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the College auditorium under the guidance of Mr. Rejish (Asst Professor of Physical Science). The club consist of eight members including Archana, Sandra Sudheer, Joshna Joseph, Saranya,Nandana, Srilakshmi,Sithara and Hridya. From the meeting we selected Archana as the president and Sandra Sudheer as the secretary of the club.

The session included discussions regarding the participation of all students into ICT. All the members of the club have participated and shared their opinions. Each of the members had given certain duties like photographer, reporter and treasurer.

Suggestions regarding the meeting:

1. Create College Radio

2. Organize a workshop on creating blog

3. Create K-TET Google forms

The main objective of the ICT club is to implement the suggestions in possible way.
