• The Principal shall be the ex-officio President of all the associations / Clubs. Staff members shall be in charge of each association / club. In all matters connected with the associations, the final decision shall rest with the Principal.

• There shall be an Executive Committee for each Association, consisting of President and Secretary.  Their duty shall be to plan and co-ordinate such programmes as would deem suitable to meet the curricular and co-curricular aims.

• The Secretary shall make arrangements for all ordinary and extra ordinary programmes subject to the prior approval of the Principal. They shall co-ordinate these programmes under the leadership of the College Union. The Secretary shall be responsible to keep a record and account of the activities of each association.

"GRACE"

The Association Inauguration and Magazine Release of the English department of Mother Theresa College of Teacher Education, Perambra, was successfully conducted on 21 January 2026 at 2:30 PM in the College Auditorium. The programme was organised to formally inaugurate the English Association and release the association magazine, along with the inauguration of other academic associations.
The programme was efficiently compered by Mr. Gautham Vinay and Ms. Niveditha M P. The event began with a prayer, setting a dignified and solemn tone for the programme.
The welcome address was delivered by Ms. Devapriya who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The English Association inauguration was carried out by Dr. Mary P. F., Principal, MCTE, who delivered the inaugural address, emphasising the role of language and literature in shaping critical thinking and creativity among students.
Following the Principal’s address, Rev. Fr. Joseph Vayalil CMI, Manager, MCTE, offered blessing speech, appreciating the efforts of the students and faculty members in organising the programme. An introduction to the programme was given by Ms. Kavya Remesh.
    The English Association magazine was released by Rev. Fr. Joseph Vayalil CMI, Manager, MCTE, marking a proud moment for the English Association, GRACE, whose association name was formally revealed during the programme by the head of English department Dr. Sr. Gracelin K Joseph.
     The programme continued with felicitation addresses by Dr. Sr. Gracelin K Joseph, Assistant Professor of English, and Mr. Rejish M, Assistant Professor of Physical Science. As part of the English Association program, a recitation and a dance performance by English option students of the GRACE Association were presented, showcasing their literary and cultural talents.

The inauguration of the English association  "PROLOGUE" was successfully held on 05/11/2024 at College Auditorium.The association aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the English language and literature.The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Vayalil CMI, the Manager MTCTE.The logo and name of the association were introduced and explained during the event. Several programs were included as part of the association inauguration and the event successfully laid the foundation for ongoing activities and engagements, promising a vibrant and active association
