Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is a NAAC-suggested quality practice adopted by the college from 2021-22 Academic Year onwards. The IQAC functions as an auto catalyst in the daily life of the college, as an agent for promoting, guiding and planning quality practices in the whole life of the campus.
The first and foremost objective of the college’s IQAC is to develop a system in action for the scholastic and co-scholastic dimensions of the college, keeping in mind the benchmarks of quality and excellence envisaged by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Govt. of India.
The various functions and activities organized by the IQAC of the college revolve around the following guiding principles:
- Setting up quality benchmark/parameters for the academic, administrative, and collaborative activities of the college.
- Dissemination of information on quality parameters to stakeholders – Faculty, Students, and Parents
- Organization of quality enhancement initiatives like Seminars / Conferences / Workshops / Concentration. Sessions with stakeholders and the academic community around the college.
- Promotion of meaningful modes of documentation of events and initiatives for sustained upgrading of institutional quality and performance.
- Timely compliance of guidelines and suggestions from the NAAC and other statutory bodies to which the college is affiliated/ recognized, like UGC, NCTE, University of Calicut, and the Higher Education Council of Kerala, to maintain the tempo of quality consciousness on the campus.
