Admission Procedure

 

Admission is through the singlewindow system (CAP) of 

University of Calicut

 

Bachelor of Education

Candidate with at least 50 percent marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's  Degree in the Science/ Social Science/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 percentage marks or any other qualification equivalent threto, are eligible for admission.

The reservation and relaxatioin for SC/ ST/ OBH/ PWD and other catagories shallbe as per the rules of the Central/ State Government, whichever is applicable.

 

Admission of students is carried out as per Government regulations. 50% of the seats are filled from the rank list prepared by the University on the basis of merit. 50% of the seats are filled from the list prepared by the Management on the basis of merit.

 

Students selected for the course will have to submity the following certificates at the time of admission. No admission will be made, with out producing anyone one of the following.

  • Transfer Certificate
  • S.S.L.C Certificate
  • Plus Two Certificate
  • Mark list of the qualifing Degree/ P.G (Complete Set)
  • Degree/ P.G Certificate
  • Eligibility Certificate for candidates from University of Calicut in the case of graduates/ Post graduates of universities  outside Kerala.
  • A recent conduct Certificate
  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, O.E.C and O.B.C should submit Caste Certificate and Income Certificate from the Tahasildar and the Village Officer respectively.
  • Three passport size photograph (with the names written at the back and enclosed in a plane envelop).

 

The parent / guardian shall accompany the candidate at the time of admission

 

 

General Discipline and Code of Behaviour

 

The following guidelines will help the students to behave in a courteous manner and to maintain general discipline in the college premises:

1. Our mornings begin with a prayer song. The students should join the prayer and have to remain standing till the song ends.

2. All the students have to be inside the classroom before the second bell goes. The students have to enter their respective classes soon after the bell rings for the next class

3. The students have to rise from their seats and greet the teacher when he/she enters the classroom. They have to rise again and thank the teacher when he/she leaves the classroom. Our students are expected to hold values, be polite and courteous respect and greet seniors and authorities both inside and outside the campus.

4. All are expected to be punctual and regular in attendance. No student will enter or leave the classroom when the session is on, without the permission of the teacher concerned.

5. Our students are expected to be clean, tidy and pleasing in appearance without being singular or conspicuous. The attire should be simple and modest.

6. All are expected to keep the college campus, classrooms, verandahs, auditorium etc. clean and tidy. Students are expected to be eager and ready to assist the teachers or other staff in keeping our environment healthy and beautiful.

7. Students are expected to spend their free hours in the library/ reading room. They should not loiter along the verandhas or in the college premises

8. Smoking, chewing tobacco, pan masala etc. is strictly prohibited in the college campus.

9. Politics in any form is not allowed in the campus.
